Who Am I?

When you smile, I smile
When you cry, I cry
But I am not your Friend...

When you love, I don’t love
When you care, I don’t care
But I am not your enemy...

There is no day, you missed me
There is no day, you didn’t see me
But I am not your sweet heart...

You are the most beautiful creation in my world
Your are always right in my world
But I am not your mom...

I make you feel confident
I make you feel smart
But I am not your dad...

There may be no one for you
But I will be always with you
Guess who am I?
I am The Mirror...

When I was alone at home starring at the mirror, these were the lines come across my mind and I started scribbling…

These above lines may look silly or childish, but it makes me to think that, a small non-living thing reflects so many things to us when we face it. Being a Dominant living thing in this world,
What do I reflect to others?
How do I reflect others? and
Who am I?

God Is On Demand...

We all know that God is Omnipresent, Omnipotent and Omniscient. He is available to us anywhere, any time and to anyone. He does not discriminate anyone of us. But it is really shocking to see and hear that, to worship him we need to pay money or to travel to some other place where he is well known or to give priority to people who stand in queue according to their caste and status. We spend so much of money just to find him or worship him but finally we are not satisfied. Do you think he really expects all these?
We ourselves are temple’s, where God lives in us. If we find him in us then we will find him in others. We don’t have time to wish our neighbors whom we know but we stand in big queue to worship God whom we never seen and still in search of him. I don’t discourage the people who go to temple/church/mosque. In a way it is happy to see that so many people still remember him and worship him. But to those who spend so much of money in finding him or thinking that all the problems will be over if they do it.
Instead of doing all these, we can help the one who need some help. We can help our neighbors who will find God in us after we do it. It is always not necessary to help others only by giving money. There are so many other things which we can do without that, such as teaching poor students whom we find around our place, meet old people at old age homes and spend some time in orphanages. I know that we don’t have time to do these things.
But we can wish our neighbors and to the one we meet, we can give a smile to them, meet and say ‘Hi’ to all our colleagues at least once in a day, appreciating our subordinates, giving our hands when they need it and many such small things. "Don’t look for big things, just do small things with great love… The smaller the thing, the greater must be our love” said Mother Teresa.
These small things we do, will do miracles in others life. They will find God in us as we find in them. After all, God helps only through you and me. All the religion says ‘Love your neighbors as you love yourself’. Today is the day to ask this question ourselves, Is it not possible to do? Are we not ready to do this? Are we waiting for a good day to start? The day we think to start is really a good day and God is no more on Demand.

It's My Farewell Day..

I was on my way
She was on her way
We both had met
Its our fate had set

Slowly, day by day
She came into my way
With hearts full of love
Like a white beauty dove

All around the sky
I said, 'We both will fly'
And her face full of shy
Like a cute sweetie pie

We both had a wish
To give a kiss
With heart full of bliss
And we don't want to miss

She made me strong,
She made me long
To be with her
For ever and ever..

But it Never last long
Not even a song
I didn't expect
It ends perfect

All went vain
With no more lane
In our own pain
We make all others fine

Its a beautiful rainy day
For u
Its a farewell day
For me..

Said the cloud
crying loud
Leaving the rain drop
From the top

Standing near the window, admiring the rain I scribbled the above lines....

When to do what?

I would like to share a small thought which i have read it from a book, some days ago.

Do you think, people will appreciate/praise only a wise man and not a fool? We do appreciate fools. Here is an example for that. In olden days, there were many small kingdoms which were ruled by kings. We knew that, on those days the kings were all known for their generosity. A Tamil literature says that a king called Paari was the one who was most generous among all others. What he did?

After his visit to countryside, he was going back to his palace by a chariot. While going he saw a beautiful creeper spread over the path without any support to climb up. The king felt very kind to that creeper and he left the chariot over there to give the creeper a support to make it climb up and he walked to the palace.

Don't you think, this is height's of foolishness? He could have ordered his servants' to bring something to support the creeper. But he didn't. He was so kind to the creeper and because of that his mind was shut. He acted unwisely. It doesn't mean he was really a fool, a fool cannot rule a kingdom. The kindness he had on the creeper made him act unwisely.

And you know what? All the kings were generous only for the people who asked help from them. The king Paari was so kind to the creeper which didn't ask any help from him and he was generous enough to give his own chariot for it. That is why we are still speaking about him and appreciate him for his kind and generosity(what we may feel foolishness).

Yes there are times that we need to shut down certain things. To love, care and to be kind, you don't need to be intelligent or u don't need to think wisely. If you think wisely you will not love others, you will judge other. 'If you judge people, you have no time to love them.' says a famous quote of Mother Teresa.

Then why do we act unwisely? It is because, only in folly we get great happiness. Just think about a singer, who is he? he tells us something by raising his voice up and down like a fool which is not done by a normal person. But it sounds good and we all enjoy it. Who is a dancer? He moves his body, hands and legs as he wish like a fool which is not done by a normal person. But we clap hands for his performance and we enjoy it. We can see foolishness in all what we do with love and enjoyment.

There is a time to switch on the lights and there is a time to switch off the lights.
There is a time to act wise and there is a time to act unwise.

The thing is, we need to know when to do what.

Beautiful Full Moon Day...

It was a beautiful full moon day, I was lying down on the terrace starring at the moon and my mind started to scribble....

Moon is bright in the sky,
Behind the clouds with shy...
Daily i see when i lie,
If i don't, then i cry...

Moon is white in the sky,
Like a kite it flies high..
'It is not possible to catch it' I sigh,
Then i think again and say 'Why cant i try?'...

Moon gives light from the sky,
With it's eyes wide open like a spy,
It keeps following me all the way,
In a bright sunny day it goes away...

Moon is dark in the sky,
And i started to cry,
Asking 'why don't u give ur ray'
And now that is all i pray..

*********************
And my mind went romantic....

Hi Whity(Moon),
When u arise..
Here arises many hearts,
Not to see your beautiful face,
But to see their sweethearts....

I am not an exception...

You may like these..
